Alabama remained undefeated after visiting Baton Rouge. What’s new? The Crimson Tide is the team to beat in College Football. Not much has changed in this aspect. But their 10-0 win over LSU was their lowest scoring win this season.

The Tigers might have found the blue print to beat Alabama. Now it’s about executing close to the perfection to beat them. Bama recorded only 323 total yards against LSU, which is not bad. However, the ten points scored were the fewest they have put on this season.

The Tide is averaging 40.1 points per game, 16th best mark in the nation. QB Jalen Hurts, who has been money, had a difficult afternoon. Hurts threw only for 107 yards and an interception. He ran for 114 yards on 20 carries. Yes, he found the end zone, but it took him longer than expected.

Alabama knows the visit to LSU is always a tough weekend on the schedule.  They should go back to basics against Mississippi State. The Bulldogs beat Texas AM 35-28, giving the Aggies a major upset.

Mississippi State is 1-4 ATS in their last five games following an ATS win. As part of the football betting tips, keep in mind the Bulldogs are 4-5 SU and 4-5 ATS this season. The worst part of putting an action bets on them is their inconsistency.

On the contrary, Bama is as steady as one can be in College Football. The Crimson Tide is 4-0 ATS in their last four conference games, 5-1 ATS in their last six home games, 6-0 ATS in their last six games in November and 7-1 ATS in their last eight games after allowing less than 170 yards passing in their previous game.

While Mississippi State 30.9 points per game and allows 29.8 each weekend, Alabama has the second-best team in the nation. The Tide allows just 13.2 points per game. They have shut down opponents twice this season.

After getting embarrassed by TCU last week, Baylor opened 14.5-point dogs against Oklahoma Sooners in the college football betting lines. The Bears were awful on defense. Plain and simple.

Baylor Bears State allowed 62 points from the Horned Frogs and dropped their second in a row inside the Big 12. How bad was Baylor’s performance on defense? TCU was 12 yards away from recording 700-total yards in the game.

Can this be fixed? Of course not. Facing the Sooners in the upcoming week could only make things worse. Oklahoma is not only undefeated inside the Big 12 with a 6-0 record. But they have the 7th best scoring offense in the nation. They average 44.1 points per game.

The Sooners find their success passing the football. They average 342.8 passing yards per game this season; eight best number in College Football. QB Baker Mayfield might not lead the Heisman Trophy voting right now, but his numbers deserve to be mentioned.

Mayfield has thrown 2912 passing yards, with 31 touchdowns and just four interceptions. His scrambles have diminished this year, but his pocket presence has improved. Mayfield against the Baylor defense is a win situation for Oklahoma.

How Baylor wins this game? They need to put together long drives. These are free ncaaf betting picks, but the theory for success is old school for the Bears.  They average 278.6 rushing yards per game, which is sixth-best in the country. They have the tools and the system to run the ball all day. The problem will come only if they score too quickly.

Consider Bears are 3-8 ATS in their last 11 conference games, 0-4 ATS in their last four road games, 2-6 ATS in their last eight games overall. The College Football Betting tips say the Sooners are 9-4 ATS in their last 13 conference games and 6-2 ATS in their last eight games following an ATS loss.

The pay per head bookies know this matchup will be a high scoring affair. The game total has been set at 75 points. The total has gone OVER in four of Baylor’s last six games when playing Oklahoma.

The College Football playoffs committee made a mistake leaving Washington out of the first cut.  They won’t make that mistake again. If the Huskies win out, they will be in the playoffs.  They are just too talented of a program to be left out.

USC Trojans has improved, but they won’t be able to do anything about the fact that they will be beaten this Saturday. The Trojans enter this game with five wins in a row. The only ranked team they beat was Colorado. None of their opponents compare to Washington.

The Huskies are playing at such a high level, the per head sportsbooks are taking every precaution when setting their lines. Washington Huskies averages 48.3 points per game this season, second-best in the nation. They have allowed only 17.0 points per game (11th). The Huskies are 8-4 ATS in its last 12 games and 4-1 ATS in its last five games when playing Southern California.

It’s just a bad matchup for USC. Even if they have improved, Washington is on another level.
