Rockets, Clippers and Cavs in the NBA Weekend Predictions

For the upcoming NBA weekend, we have five games lineup for the sports betting fans. The league is coming to an end in a few weeks, and that means the teams can’t afford dumb losses for the reminder of the season.

There are exactly five teams qualified for the playoffs already. The Cleveland Cavaliers and Boston Celtics are set in the East. The Golden State Warriors, San Antonio Spurs, and Houston Rockets are the postseason teams in the West. The good news for all is there is a lot to play for still in the schedule.

Here are the NBA Weekend Predictions:

New Orleans Pelicans at Houston Rockets

  • When: Friday, March 24, 2017
  • Game Time: 8:00 PM ET
  • Where: Toyota Center, Houston, TX

The New Orleans Pelicans are rolling lately. They are chasing the last eighth spot in the Western Conference playoffs, and five wins in their last six games have helped their chances. The team is starting to figure out what to do with the tandem of Anthony Davis and DeMarcus Cousins.

Despite their recent wins the price per head sportsbooks will make the Pelicans the underdogs traveling to Houston. The Rockets are already qualified for the postseason, and their idea is to maintain the third place in the West while getting to the hotter in the last few games of the season.

Houston has also won five of their last six games, including two in a row against the dangerous Denver Nuggets. The Rockets are 2-6 ATS in their last eight home games, 6-13 ATS in their last 19 games following a straight up win, 2-6 ATS in their last eight games as a home favorite and 1-4 ATS in their last five home games vs. a team with a losing road record.

Utah Jazz vs. Los Angeles Clippers

  • When: Saturday, March 25, 2017
  • Game Time: 3:30 PM ET
  • Where: STAPLES Center, Los Angeles, CA

The Jazz facing the Clippers is one of the best game of the weekend. The online bookie software will make Los Angeles the favorites, but Utah one of the last meeting with an 114-108 just weeks ago. The meeting will be a direct battle for the fourth place in the West and home-court advantage in the first round of the playoffs.

Utah lost their last three road game; although all games were against Eastern Conference teams. The losses against Cleveland Cavaliers, Chicago Bulls, and Indiana Pacers helped the Clippers get within a game in the standings.

Washington Wizards at Cleveland Cavaliers

The Washington Wizards are a dangerous team in the East, but they are too inconsistent to see them winning clearly in Cleveland. They have dropped games against teams like the Minnesota Timberwolves, Dallas Mavericks, Charlotte Hornets and Boston Celtics. On the contrary, they have looked great against the Atlanta Hawks, Chicago Bulls, and Portland Trail Blazers. It’s an awkward pairing for the pay per head services to find out which team is going to performed every night.

Cleveland has struggled lately as well. But at least we know what we get with the Cavs. If Lebron James is not resting, then they will have a shot in any game. The Cavaliers have won the first two games of the season against the Wizards, including a 140-135 overtime thriller on February.

Appearing for the second time in this weekend NBA picks are the Houston Rockets. Hosting the Oklahoma City Thunder is a good matchup for the. While OKC is a one-man show, Houston has one of the best offense in the NBA.

The Thunder is 14-20 on the road this season. They have dropped the last two against the Rockets, and a third defeat is on the horizon. The sports bookies have Houston as the favorites. Not only because they play at home, but because they have dominated the series in recent games.

Memphis Grizzlies at Golden State Warriors

The Grizzlies are the only team in the NBA who have beaten the Warriors twice this season. Golden State, however, won the last meeting. Without Kevin Durant on the court, the Grizzlies can steal a third victory, which will be crazy news for the pay per head bookies.

Since losing three in a row, against Boston, Minnesota and San Antonio, Golden State has won four straight games. Nevertheless, the Warriors are 3-11-2 ATS in their last 16 games playing on 2-day rest, and 2-5 ATS in their last seven games as a favorite of 0.5-4.5 points, according to the NBA betting trends.

Memphis is in a tough part of the schedule; they had to face the San Antonio Spurs twice in the last week. After taking the Spurs, they will have to meet the hungry Warriors-.
